Built in 1827 on the site of the original St Munchin’s church replacing a medieval church.
Built in 1827, closed in 1898, St Bride’s School (Church of Ireland) was demolished to make way for the Guinness sponsored Iveagh Trust social housing development (Bull Alley scheme) which still stands on the site.

On the highest point in the town, the Church of Ireland has a fine,
Churchill, left empty from 1918 was known to have wood-rot in 1926.
