Office development along the canal,
Large office development on site of horrendous 1980s office building now deemed past its sell-by date.
After the failure of Anglo Irish Bank in late 2008,
Belfast City Quays 2 is the second speculative commercial office building to be constructed as part of the wider Grimshaw designed masterplan development for Belfast Harbour.
The proposed new development consists of the construction of a six storey office building with roof plant level and with lower ground floor accommodation with a gross floor area of 12,733 sqm all above a double basement car park with a gross floor area of 4,870 sqm.
Replacing the existing four storey Kestrel House office building with 8 floors of large open plan offices.
Constructed on the site of Burlington House,
The development includes three new signature buildings whose tapering forms are designed to be read as a composition within the skyline set by Millenium Tower and Montevetro and whose coloured tones will complement the brick surrounds and limestone walls of the existing stone heritage buildings.
Capital Dock is a 22-storey mixed-use development at the junction of Sir John Rogerson’s Quay and Britain Quay.
