Gothic chapel designed by the County Surveypr for the Sisters of Mercy convent.
The church as illustrated was largely completed with the exception of the residence.
The Dublin architect John McCurdy was responsible for rebuilding Dromantine House in the Italian Renaissance style in the 1860s.
