From The Architect, August 21, 1875: “This new mansion has just been completed for Sir George C.
Elaborate commercial premises designed in a Ruskinian Gothic as offices for the National Bank of Ireland.
Galley Head Lighthouse is one of 70 lighthouses operated by the Commissioners of Irish Lights around the coast of Ireland.
Italianate style villa now part of the buildings of the University of Limerick and known to the students as the white house (because it contained the offices of the President of the University).
Saint Luke’s Church of Ireland was the third church to stand on the site.
Construction took so long that both the original architect,
