Started as a bar and restaurant in 1967 which was an instant success due to its location and views.
Also known as the Waterville Beach or Reenroe Hotel, it was built in the late 1960s or early 70s as luxurious hotel in South Kerry.
First unveiled in 2007, it was never clear where the funding for this vaguely titled centre was to come from.
