It has been our pleasing duty for some time past to record the great activity which prevails throughout the south of Ireland in all branches of the building trade,
Saint Luke’s Church of Ireland was the third church to stand on the site.
Destroyed in the burning of Patrick Street during the War of Independence.
Constructed for Baker &
Large post office building with a fine curved façade with arcaded windows.
The original Home was founded in 1872 by Miss Frances Fitzgerald Gregg and was located in Albert House,
Presbytery and schools for 740 children.
The old Anglesea Bridge, built in the 1830s,
