1968 – Stephenson Design for Wood Quay, Dublin
Instead of an open architectural competition,
Instead of an open architectural competition,
Small office block to front of an existing knitwear factory.
Unsuccesful Richard Seifert and Partners design for Dublin Corporation offices at Wood Quay.
In 1968 proposals were invited for a new Dublin Corporation office block at Wood Quay in Dublin.
Another one of the horrific buildings in this area,
Warehouse designed to have large internally uninterrupted spaces.
In the early 1960’s the chapel in Kilmacud was proving to be much too small for the growing population,
Thirteen floors of office space in a very sensitive location behind Fitzwilliam Place and on the banks of the Grand Canal,
Now part of the Dundalk Institute of Technology’s campus,
Attractive, and so very 1960s conversion of a mews house into a modern residence.
