Constructed as a new hotel in the mid 1920s,
Rebuilt in 1926 by an unknown architect after the Edinburgh Life Insurance Company was destroyed in 1922.
Originally opened as a boarding house in 1845 by Phoebe Wynn.
A modest office building used by Dublin City Council.
Dublin Civic Week was held over the 17th to the 25th of September 1927.
A fine concrete building with its structure clearly visible,
Combined Garda Station and house for the local Sargent.
Rebuilt (1925-27) after the ravages of the Civil War,
