St. Colmcille’s Church was built between 1958 and 1960 and replaced an older church on the same site.

Ratoath College is the first significant public institution in the community and accommodates 850 second level pupils.
The buildings within the master plan are conceived as shards of glass or rock crystals emerging from the landscape.
