An incredibly ornate, inside and out, Point Douglas church of 1893 that sadly burned down in the 1970s.
Built in two stages, the original and larger part was constructed in 1882-83 and housed the Courts,
Designed by local architect George Creeford Browne,
Originally St. Andrew’s Presbyterian Church,
Sited at 482 Bannatyne Avenue, the congregation expanded and later moved to River Heights.
Mulvey School No. 3, completed in late 1895 and largely resembling its predecessor which was destroyed in a fire,
Constructed in 1896, and designed by local architect Charles H.
After the First World War, two storeys were added to the building,
Designed by the architectural firm of Cadham and Grayson to replace a building of 1892 destroyed by fire.
