Architect: Richard F. O’Connor
Unexecuted design from the 1930s for an airport for Cork City. Over the years, a number of sites were considered for both an airport for landplanes and a seaplane base. In 1933, Richard F. O’Connor, Cork County Surveyor makes his ideas for an airport known – aerodrome site at Belvelly and seaplane base in Cork Harbour. Neither happened.
