1880s – Carleton’s, No.33 Westmoreland Street, Dublin

Extensive drapers store with a manufactory on Castle Street. Described in a visitor book on Dublin: “No visitor to Dublin should neglect a visit to the well stored and handsome premises of Mr Carleton in Westmoreland street”. Demolished in the early 1920s to be replaced by the Hyam Building.
