1871 – Corporation Gas Showroom, Queen Street, Belfast

Standing beside the derelict former Children’s Hospital, but in this photo from the 1930s, the Corporation Gas building projects a bold modern image. Building originally designed in 1871 by William Hastings, and the facade remodelled in the 1930s. After standing derelict for many years, opened in 2024 as an art gallery.
