ParticipantI’m researching recently built libraries and was wondering if anyone from Cork has interior photos with the CIT library. Can’t find any decent images with the library interior. There is a detailed article in AI 226 about the buildings designed by de Balcam and Meagher in collaboration with Boyd Barrett Murphy-O’Connor Architects but the Library is not covered.
Thanks in advance for any info you might have on this.

I had those few images as well. In google images there aren’t that many interior shots and the two images that link back to Bantry joinery website are the only relevant ones. But both are taken from the same area and looking at the layout of the library it seems the space is more complex. The narrow atrium type space with perimeter walkways for access to bookshelves link into a central space at the end… see attached layout plan. I was looking for more shots to get a better feel of the space and how it works. I would visit the place myself I just can’t get there in the near future. I thought someone from Cork has photos in hand.
