they’re there because double yellow lines don’t physically prevent people parking and we good civic minded Dubs require actual physical objects to be put in the way. See Westland Row – in fact cycle up it and see how many pedestrians end up being forced onto the cycle track in front of you. They are a bloody nightmare and a major obstruction to movement in the city. It may be time for Guerilla chainsaw action

on a related point the automatic bollards in temple bar and south anne street that arent used are in bits, one is neing used a cigarette butt holder.
can they not be removed as they perform no useful function?
I’ve seen a few snapped in half… It hurts humans a lot more!
