ParticipantAs an avid reader of this forum, I hate to make its current trend towards negativity any bleaker, but I couldn’t help pointing out the front page splash on today’s Irish Daily Mail.

InactiveWell my first thought was that these “desperate architects” were queueing up in the mistaken belief that a ‘McDonald’s job’ meant a cushy number designing one of their restaurants.
However, other professionals mentioned in the text included bankers and (I think) engineers: surely the bankers would be a more notable group to highlight? Since when did architects deserve to be held up above those involved in the destruction of the economy?!
