ParticipantDoes anybody know what’s going on here? My understanding from reading their press releases is that they are up and running from January. Their web-site (http://www.dublinbids.com/) shows no sign of life. Anything on-street? I work for a BID in London (http://www.londonbridgebid.co.uk) and quite interested in what’s happening back home.

Can we expect something as ‘radical’ on our wide boulevards, e.g. Westmoreland and D’Olier. Furthermore, this is the joint effort of 3 distinct BIDs:

InactiveIt might be nice to relax in the sweltering summer heat but it looks a little scary to be honest!
Cars and trucks speeding past your table, and there are more than a fair share of cars and taxis etc that go out of control in Manhattan’s pedestrian filled streets. Maybe some raised kerbs or discrete railings are needed?
But its certainly a nice idea.
