Graduate Planning Positions?

I’m looking for advice on where best to apply for graduate positions.Can anyone tell me what the situation is with regard to graduate planning positions opening up within local authorities, do they occur strictly as vacancies occur or is there another type of system in place? Any info much appreciated
Some LAs take graduates, but most of my classmates found work in the private sector, at least initially, and then transferred over to the public in some cases. It’s simply a case of keeping an eye on the jobs pages and the IPI website. Agencies can help too, but I’m sensing the beginnings of a slowing down in some areas. Take what you can get for now- the time for choice comes later. Best of luck with the hunt.
