      Just noticed today a brand new litter bin design at the top of Grafton Street.

      It is in dark grey, looks like stove enamel finish and has Council sign in dark blue.
      Rather nice, but like most new bins it is designed so that you cannot but anything large, e.g. a big newspaper in to it easily. Doubtless to collect waste charges.

      In Chatham Street, has Sawyer’s fish shop closed recently or have I missed something?

      I hope not, I was in there a few weeks ago for a nice piece of haddock. There is some really nice detailing in the back of the shop including a wrought iron spiral staircase.

      Looks like Sawyers is indeed closed.
      A sign there directs to another fish shop.

      And there are now two different kinds of grey litter bin at the top end of Grafton street
