ParticipantI am getting an extension on my home and the building has already started since 2 weeks back, unfortunately we need a cert of comp for our mortgage company but the architect who drew up our plans is unable to do it, can someone recommend a good architect or company who could help?

InactiveHe would need to be involved with the whole project right through to issue a cert. Just because he spec’d certain things doesn’t mean it was used.

Inactiveusally a cert of compliance is only issued at the end of the work, what you probably need is an interim arch/eng certificate to get a stage payment, you hav’nt started that long so he has only missed the digging and pouring foundations check get someone who works in your area and he can check it how before you fill back in around it
