Suitable coverings for low pitch roof

Hello, I need some advice. I am planning to build a lean-to extension to the rear of my house but with the height of the window sills overhead, the slope of the roof will be limited to 13 degrees. The existing roof is covered with flat tiles. I would like to use the same tiles again, but the roadstone website recommends a minimum pitch of 20 degrees.
Would I get away with the 13 degree slope and roof tiles?
Can anyone recommend any alternative materials?
