Invitation to event in Belmullet

As part of the ongoing Spirit of Place programme an Illustrated Talk and Public Forum is taking place in the Broadhaven Bay Hotel, Belmullet on Monday 4 July at 8pm. Admission is free and anyone in the area is welcome to attend. Speakers include Terry Garcia, Executive Vice President Mission Programmes with National Geographic, Travis Price (Architect, programme founder and operator) and John Mayock (Lecturer Fine Arts, DIT). Travis Price and a group of graduate architecture students are currently working on a sculpture in nearby Carrowteigue which will be the fourth Spirit of Place sculpture in the area. The theme of this years sculpture is The Children of Lir.
