InactiveSee the Light 2005 – Two-day national conference on solar architecture and renewable energy in buildings
Dear All,
I am pleased to invite you to See the Light 2005, SEI-REIO’s annual conference dedicated to solar architecture and the application of renewable energy in buildings. This two-day event will take place on 21 and 22 June at the Ardilaun House Hotel in Galway, with pre-conference workshops on 20 June in the evening.
See the Light 2005 will feature an extraordinary line-up of speakers and highlights of the conference include:
– workshops on the design and specification of solar thermal and heat pump systems in large buildings;
– presentations showcasing award winning projects in passive house architecture and renewable heating and cooling systems;
– a study tour demonstrating the GMIT renewable energy centre and the first Irish factory-built timber frame passive house;
– an analysis of the challenges and opportunities offered by new legislation for the energy performance of buildings.The conference is hosted in association with the Royal Institute of the Architects of Ireland and CIBSE – RoI, and both organizations have approved it for the CPD of their members.
