ParticipantDrove thru it yesterday (Cork-Dublin Road) and noticed what i assume are a number of tudor dwellings with the tudor style windows. Does someone know why this particular village (or is it a town) has houses and buildings in that style. I will post some pictures of it next week.

ParticipantAbbeyleix is really a picture post-card town… although traffic is appalling, surely this will be alleviated when the cork-dublin motorway is finished in 2050.
Morrissey’s bar is also as much a museum as it is a pub… well worth a visit 🙂

ParticipantIs it a planned or model village. Attached to a landed estate. That would probably explain the style
