I thought I should post this, as I feel it would be of interest to alot of people using these forums:

Forum for Irish Urban Studies (FIUS) seminar:

‘Transport in Dublin: contemporary challenges and future potential?’ which will
be held in the Museum Building, Trinity College on Wednesday 10th November at
    5.30pm.

Two 25-minute papers will be presented at the seminar. The first speaker is Dr. James Killen , Senior Lecturer in the Dept. of Geography, Trinity College and the second speaker is Mr. John Henry , Director of the Dublin Transportation
    Office.

To discuss and debate the topic further, a ‘questions and answers’ programme
will follow the 25-minute presentations. This will provide an opportunity for
considerable interaction between the speakers and the audience. Thereafter, we
shall adjourn to the Longstone Pub on Townsend St. to continue further
    discussion.

We request that you register your intention to attend the seminar
by Wednesday 3rd November, to allow for the booking of a suitably sized room for
    the event (contact details below).

We would appreciate it if you could send this invitation to others who may be
interested in attending the seminar but are not on our contact list. If you
have any questions or comments, please do not hesitate to contact us.

Looking forward to seeing you there

I feel a bit ridiculus replying to my own thread, but just to remind anyone who is interested that this is on tommorow (Wednesday 10th) in the Museum Building, Trinity College at 5.30pm. It should be an interesting discussion and will also include the unveiling of the proposed route of the Luas through the College grounds!! 🙂 😉

So, what route is the tram to take through Trinity? And is it what the RPA will apply for or just the wishes of the Council?
