InactiveIt’s funny to see that Jurys Doyles Hotels have a banner at the top of this site…considering that practically every Jury’s I know uses the usual dreadful commercial/mock georgain architecture…how do banners work…did Jury’s ask to be on this site, or did they just register with some online advertising company who stuck them here??? If I generally can, I stay well clear of staying in one, and further propogating even more.
On a slightly relevant note (ie not furthering bungalow blitz), other users might be interested in the self catering homes at http://www.irishlandmark.com

ParticipantIt was funny to see Jurys Edinburgh just a couple of weeks after it was mentioned here cropping up on Restoration. There was a tight shot taken from a distance scanning over the city skyline, with domes, cupolas and crumbly balustrades filling the screen, and in bursts Jurys like a bolt of reality, shattering the fairytale.
It was cut before becoming too obvious 🙂 - August 24, 2004 at 4:59 pm #745396

…I say we boycott them
Paul Clerkin, any chance they can be removed from advertising on this site?

InactiveI don’t know,
If they want to pay for a space on the site that is business, it is only a pity that they don’t pay more for their architecture. But then again how many really good hotels have been built in Dublin recently?
