I am completing a thesis on the language and meaning in architecture. Questioning whether the architect designs / encodes for a specific textual community (i.e. other architects or theorists etc.) or the general viewer (i.e. public). I was wondering if anyone has completed a similar thesis and would give me advice or information on the subject area.
The theoretical perspective I am applying is semiotics and discourse analysis.Thanks :confused:
