green building temple bar

Some questions:
a) Are the wind turbines ever used? I cannot remember when I last saw them revolve?
b) Are the solar panels still working?
apparently the technology has all gone to pot because it was quite experimental at the time and unreliable in the long term. nice ideas but the will to keep up the effort isnt there. management is to blame i suppose.
broader acceptance and practical use of the concepts introduced to the city centre by this building would be a great testament to its name. as it is its gone a bit like autumn leaves
Maybe the turbines have been stopped for fear of causing a landslide through Temple Bar ‘-)
I thought I heard before that the building was still fully functional. If it is not, it is a shame and I wonder why not.
Even more of a shame is that it is a one of a kind.
Does anybody know if there are any other buildings with interesting “green” features around?
