      Andrew McLaren’s article, ‘Technology and Urban Transformation’ is particularly insightful and goes close to the core of the discussion. He unravels the (economic and technologically driven) course of events that have shaped the urban environment of American cities in general, and Dublin in particular, and in so doing reveals the (often) over-familiar face of Dublin.

      Thankyou Paul, is it something to do with UCD, is it digital or print? Is is available in bookstores or from the UCD campus? The introduction by Sinead, seems to indicate a few articles i would love to read.

      They sell it in paper form.i saw a copy in the pathetic architectre section in easons dawson st.

      It is available in Hodges Figgis / Waterstones / Eason…

      its a large format softcover and afaik retails for over 20 euro….

      i had to buy my copy like everyone else 😉

      Ah that is wonderful, i am quite deeply engrossed in the exact same issues described by Sinead Bourke’s intro myself. But it would be nice to see if they have anything new to offer, or what types of terms/vocabulary they like to use.

      I do find the vocab a bit overly flowery at times by Irish archs but however….
