KeymasterThey are embargoed so I’m not allowed to publish them on the site. The winners have been notified.

ParticipantWhat do you mean?
They’re already public knowledge.
They should be published. - December 3, 2002 at 6:23 pm #723258

KeymasterUntil the winners have been notified in writing by the AAI, the winners list cannot be published. Its the same every year.

ParticipantThis is standard procedure for the AAI – the entrants know they have won or not, but the press are not allowed publish the results. It’s an unfortunate way to view publicity, and I’m sure the winners feel the same.

ParticipantI understand that at the poorly subscribed Deyan Sudjic Lecture the results were quickly read out. Even though, (hearsay only) 15 people heard these results they could theoretically tell 15 people each and eventually exponentially everyone would know. Say one of those people posted the results on this web site, it could not be considered “in the media” or published in the traditional sense.
