from the first issue of “Portfolio – Your monthly update on Living and Working in Dublin City”
Plans for 560 new apartments and houses on three waterfront sites, which could be built by the end of next year, are currently being marketed by the DDDA. Located at Grand Canal Harbour they are being designed by Benson and Forsyth and O’Mahoney Pike. The Benson and Forsyth designed block will be at the junction of Pearse and Macken Streets.
Described as designed by two “renowned architectural firms” they go on to mention that the “English architects Benson and Forsyth have developed plans for 270 apartments on this prime waterfront location”… all very well and good….
but the other firm is O’Mahoney Pike… now personally I wouldn’t call them renowned…..
will be interesting to see what Benson and Forsyth bring to developer led apartment complexes in Dublin.
