      Anyone know who won at the AAI awards last friday?

      I have them but “Circulation of these results is restricted to entrants and members of the AAI until the exhibition in March 2002. All press coverage of the AAI Awards 2002 will be held back until then.”

      That would be great…Thanks. Someone I know had entered and has not been able to contact anone at the AAI since the announcements.

      The following are the results of the Architectural Association of Ireland¹s AAI Awards 2001 ­ the seventeenth in the series of annual awards for excellence in architectural design ­ which were adjudicated on Friday, 30th November.

      There were 122 applications and 121 entries received by the deadline ­ the highest numbers ever for the AAI Awards. All were deemed eligible.

      The AAI AWARDS 2002 exhibition will open in Dublin, in March 2002; it will also tour to other venues around the country.

      Downes Bronze Medal

      The Downes Bronze Medal may be awarded at the discretion of the Assessors.
      This year, the jury awarded the Downes Bronze Medal to:

      O¹Donnell and Tuomey Architects

      AAI AWARDS

      The maximum number of AAI Awards is seven. This year the jury selected 3 projects for Awards. They are, in alphabetical order:
