Opera in Dublin?

Hey, what’s the chances of an opera house for Dublin….. pie in the sky? Another fanciful idea…..like the Monument of Light,the Millenium Mall, the Luas,the National Conference Centre, etc……..that may never materialise.Who’ll object?….the locals,and what will be the excuse….’the noise’… the baby can’t sleep at night. Trappings for our new found middle class society.Time to brush up on Verdi,Rossini,our very own Balfe et all.Here’s to high culture.
