ParticipantDid anyone see the article in Saturday’s (August 12th 2000)’Irish Times’??
Any comments?
What about the statement that there was no need to consult an architect to design the house! (See I.T. for reasons and for proof of what can be achieved by not consulting with an architect)
Given the current quality of house design in Ireland it is apparent that the majority of those building their own homes are of a similar opinion.

ParticipantThe web address is:
http://www.ireland.com/newspaper/newsfeatures/2000/0812/newsfeatures3.htmUnfortunately this does not include the drawing of the front elevation, nor the side article with the specific comments about precluding the services of an architect.
