Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland

I see in today’s papers that the RCSI (Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland) is planning a new office development strctching from the site of the former Grafton Market to Georges Street. The images of it are disgusting – standard office space with atrium “feature”. What is it with the RCSI, all their other developments around there look like shit as well. Look at thecarpark, the Mercer’s hospital extension – all shit.

And compare this to the policy of Trinity College – good designed buildings by prominent architects.
