1899 – No. 1 Fire Hall, 110 Albert St., Winnipeg
Architect: Henry S. Griffith
Built to replace the old Central Station on William Ave. at Charlotte. Part of a cluster of municipal buildings including the City Hall and Market Building. Distinctly a firehall with the tall tower to dry hoses, larger than most constructed by the city. Demolished in 1965 after a period of poor repair.
