A purpose-built home for girls named after a benefactor who donated 1200 pounds to its construction. The benefaction stipulated that local stone be used so that its construction would also benefit local stone workers. Finished with redbrick, red roof tiles, and roughcast plaster panels. Perspective view published in The Building News, October 8th 1886. Now a private residence.
