1926 – All Saints Anglican Church, Winnipeg, Manitoba

Constructed after the previous church was removed for street realignment. A cornerstone was laid at a ceremony on 25 September 1926 with dedication of the new building on 23 December 1926.
All Saints Church is an excellent example of a late Gothic Revival style, commonly referred to as Collegiate Gothic. With simpler silhouettes and cleaner decorative elements, unfortunately it didn’t receive the planned short tower. The exterior is different from the proposal drawings, a church hall and a tower in the southwest corner was never constructed.
The interior boasts one of Canada’s largest collections of stained glass by Morris & Co. Some interior elements from the previous church were saved and re-installed in the new church, including stained glass windows, pews, and the altar rail.
