St. Joseph’s Ukrainian Catholic Church served by Redemptorists of the eastern rite, is located on 250 Jefferson Avenue in Winnipeg, and is one of fifteen Ukrainian Catholic Churches in Winnipeg. Completed in 1963 St. Joseph’s contains the holy relics of Bishop and Martyr Blessed Vasyl Vsevolod Velychkovsky in the shrine chapel. A museum is also located in the church. It is a striking building with the open towers on each corner and over the crossing. The larger central dome admits light down into the crossing.
