1899 – The Gables, Reading, Berkshire
Architect: William Ravenscroft
“This little house, built for the architect’s own occupation, is situated on high ground on the outskirts of Reading, the fall of the site allowing for the terraced treatment, which is shown in our illustration. The work has been carried out by Messrs. Collier and Catley, builders, Reading, the architect being Mr. W. Ravenscroft, of the same town.” Published in The Building News, August 11th 1899.
