Built in 1906 as one of Glasgow’s Carnegie Libraries, and designed in a Baroque style by architect James R. Rhind, with columns, statues and a sandstone dome. In 2015 the Diversity Windows project added stained glass windows telling the stories of the people of Govanhill in colourful artwork.
