Architect: John Schofield, Canadian National Railway
Built to replace a Canadian Northern Railway depot. Designed by John Schofield, chief architect of the Canadian National Railway, previously of Canadian Northern, in a stripped classical style. Many of Schofield’s larger stations were quite consewrvation, late Beaux Arts in style. The detailing here is more adventurous. Demolished after a short working life.
