1876 – General Post Office, Montreal, Quebec

An elaborate Second Empire style post office that stood next door to the Bank of Montreal headquarters. In 1910, the elaborate roof of the post office caught fire and was replaced with a more traditional third floor by 1912. Demolished 1959 for the Bank of Montreal tower.
