“We give also the perspective view of Dr. Rowand Anderson’s triumphal arch for the same situation in his scheme ; a design which, as we have already observed, is much the best feature in his scheme, and its picturesque Renaissance treatment affords an interesting and effective contrast to the more Roman severity of Mr. Jackson’s arch.”
