1901 – Cocks Biddulph and Co. Bank, Spring Gardens, London
Architect: John Oldrid Scott
Illustration of new front to Spring Gardens, the front being designed in 1874 on a slightly grander scale. Cocks Biddulph was a London bank founded in 1757, acquired by the Bank of Liverpool and Martins Ltd in late 1919. In December 1969, it became part of Barclays Bank, known as Whitehall Cocks Biddulph, and closed in 1997. Now a bar and restaurant.
