1866 – Prince Of Wales’s Theatre, Lime Street, Liverpool

Opened in 1866 as the “New Prince of Wales Theatre and Opera House,” it was Liverpool’s largest theatre, renamed the Royal Alexandra Theatre and Opera House in 1867. It became The Empire in 1896 and closed in 1922.
