The Museu Tàpies, formerly “Fundació Antoni Tàpies” is housed in a historic Modernista building originally designed by architect Lluís Domènech i Montaner as the Montaner i Simón Publishing House. Later restored and redeveloped for its current use by architects Roser Amadó and Lluís Domènech Girbau, with further modern renovations by Ábalos+Sentkiewicz Arquitectos.
