Low key modernist library branch built after a lot of discussion on location. The 8,285 sq. ft. branch replaced the heavily used Waterloo-Corydon bookmobile stop and opened to the public on September 1, 1961. The final cost of construction was $77,500. The interior was over two levels with a wide staircase descending to the lower room. Closed in 2021, when a replacement library was opened closer to Grant Park.
