1897 – Queen Victoria Diamond Jubilee Monument, Assiniboine Park, Winnipeg
Originally placed in front of the old City Hall, donated to the city in 1897 by the Young Peoples’ Christian Endeavour Society to commemorate Queen Victoria’s Diamond Jubilee. It was moved to Assiniboine Park in autumn 1965 and unveiled at a re-dedication ceremony on 18 May 1967.
