Also known as the Tivolia Beer Garden & Restaurant, demolished and redeveloped into the Tivoli Theatre. According to the theatre history website arthurlloyd.co.uk “…. it wasn’t long before it started engaging comedians and singers to entertain its customers too. The entertainment element was so successful that it was soon decided that the site should be enlarged and that a Music Hall should be added to the property.” Published in The Building News, December 7th 1883.
